### Our understanding of sustainability

With our knitwear collections, we want to contribute to a more conscious way of consuming clothing. We try to design and produce knitwear that, due to its timelessness and high quality, will be used for many years to come.

The concept of Aesthetic Sustainability has helped us choose the direction in our work. It involves a slightly different approach to sustainability than one where it is primarily about using ecological materials. It is more about how high quality and timeless expression create clothes and products that are “worn” with style and thus are valued by the owner for a long time. Whether we have succeeded with our project must be up to each individual to decide, but we have done our best and feel we can stand behind what we do! Read more about our thoughts and dogmas here.

### Timeless knitwear or slow fashion...

We have created a basic collection, which is supplemented with a few new styles throughout the year. Our collection is created to continue regardless of season and fashion trends and can thus be described as long-lasting and slow fashion. The collection is continuously supplemented with a few new items.

The collection reflects a mix of the simple Nordic design language in classic dusty shades combined with a more dramatic color composition from the Southern European countries.

### Behind Hanne Linding Denmark

The collection is designed in Denmark by Hanne Linding. Design, sizes and craftsmanship details are reprocessed in collaboration with two small knitters in Italy, and from this comes the word, we. "I am the designer but enjoy being able to spar regarding knitting techniques and craftsmanship skills with the knitters at the workshops in Italy , mentions Hanne Linding.  

We launched our first collection at the beginning of 2020. The timeless and colorful knitwear is sold from the company's own webshop, from a few selected stores, at design markets, and at customer events.  

We are located with a showroom/workshop in Søhøjlandet near Ry, which embodies beautiful and varied nature. The hilly landscape and growing up by the sea on the West Coast provide inspiration in the work with design, color combinations and structures in the material.

### The thoughts behind our design

The design is minimalist with references back to a time when the focus was on design, cuts, and craftsmanship details. The models are more spacious than typical Italian luxury knitwear. Everything is knitted in fully fashioned, which provides a good fit and waste.

We focus on a wide color selection, classic Nordic colors and dramatic Southern European ones, as colors support your personality and affect our mood. We want to bring colors back into the streetscape. Read more about design and production here.

### The knitwear collection is produced in Italy

Made in Italy… In Northern Italy, the old center of the fashion industry, there is still unparalleled knowledge and craftsmanship in producing yarn and knitwear. In Italy, we produce close to our market, and at the same time, we contribute to preserving the production of yarn and knitwear in Europe. It feels good!

### We work with an exclusive meriwool

We are into wool and other natural materials and have chosen to start with an exclusive meriwool that holds its shape and colors and is really comfortable to use. The meriwool is so fine and breathable that it can be used all year round and needs to be washed far less often than, for example, cotton.
