About us
Do we need more clothes in the world?
To that we can answer no… Nevertheless, with our new knitwear collection, we are trying to contribute to a more conscious consumption of clothing with a production that is carried out with consideration for climate, environment and people.
Most of us know that the fashion industry leaves a nasty footprint in the world. We may also know that it is best to buy clothes from the second-hand store. But if you don't have the knack for spotting good things and putting them together in creative ways, you have to do the next best thing, namely buy fewer pieces of clothing of better quality and use them for a longer time – Buy less buy better!
We want to live up to sustainable production in all parameters. We have started somewhere where we can stand behind the quality and production conditions, but it will be an ongoing process to optimize sustainable production. See our values, written as our dogmas below, and possibly read more here.
The motivation behind our brand
Hanne Linding, who is behind the brand, has many years of experience with knitwear and design, partly as a textile craftswoman and partly as manager of a museum shop at the Asger Jorn museum.
“The joy of super simple design, good craftsmanship and good qualities is the driving force behind my new brand, says Hanne Linding and continues “I work with classic long-lasting knitwear collections, where I am responsible for the design myself and collaborate with highly skilled knitters from Italy on sizes, qualities, knitting techniques, etc.”
The design from Hanne Linding is known for a very simple expression with an edge, freed from current trends, Slow Fashion. Colors in focus, and therefore there is a relatively large color selection in the first collection, which will be expanded over time. The focus is on clothing with fine artisanal details of such high quality that you will hopefully want to cherish it and use it for years to come.
