Quality Knitwear – Classic no. 4
Quality knitted skirt with a ribbed yoke, knitted straps and a knitted belt. The belt buckle is made in the Netherlands from real horn. A ‘tubolare’ (tubular) finish has been added between the yoke and the skirt, creating a beautiful transition. The colour is dark green melange.
The skirt is A-line and falls just above the knee.
How to wear it
Classic no. 4 can be worn in countless ways. Pair it with a silk shirt worn loose over it, or with one of the short-sleeved With a Twist no. 1 sweaters “tucked” into the front of the skirt. The skirt is knitted with three-ply yarn and is therefore relatively warm.

Material
100% extra-fine merino wool, spun and finished in Italy. The yarn has not been chlorine-treated to make it Superwash and contains no synthetic fibres. It is therefore a 100% natural material.
Our yarn is of very high quality and among the softest yarns available, which makes it very comfortable to wear – also because it is light, breathable and antibacterial. Although it is an exclusive yarn, it may still develop very light pilling over time, for example under the arms. It can be removed gently with a wool comb or a fabric shaver.
The neck label and care label are easy to remove, after which the material is 100% biodegradable.
The sweater comes with a small skein of the yarn, so you can repair it if an accident happens.
Size guide

Measurements are given in cm.

Washing and care
Merino wool is self-cleaning and does not need washing nearly as often as, for example, cotton and materials containing synthetic fibres. Avoid frequent washing, as it wears out the garment and also has a negative impact on our environment. Instead, hang merino knitwear outside to air, ideally on a day with high humidity, and it will then feel fresh and ready to wear.
We recommend hand washing at approx. 30°C, i.e. lukewarm water. Use a high-quality wool detergent. Use gentle movements, then rinse in lukewarm water. Gently press out the water and avoid wringing. Lay the garment flat to dry on a towel, for example on a bathroom floor with underfloor heating.
Machine washing may be an option if you have a washing machine with a gentle wool programme at max. 800 rpm. Please note! This is done at your own risk.
The garment can be smoothed with an iron on a low heat. To avoid iron marks, you can place a damp cloth in between. You can also use the steam function on your iron, though still at a low heat.
After use, fine knitwear is best stored on a hanger so it does not crease and is always ready to wear, or alternatively folded in a box.
Shipping
We charge for shipping because we hope it can help reduce the enormous volume of returns in online clothing retail, which has a negative impact on the environment and climate. We ask our customers to pay for returns themselves, and perhaps think twice about whether it is the right purchase.
